Adam Kolodziej

Adam Kolodziej - MEngI am a PhD student working on novel drug filtration systems and pathogen electrochemical sensors, under the supervision of Dr Para Rodriguez and Paco. I graduated from the Poznan University of Technology (Poland) in Chemical Technology in 2012 (BEng) and 2014 (MEng) with a Master Thesis on the application of biopolymers in supercapacitors.  Within this time, I undertook summer placements at the University of Edinburgh (2013), working with Dr Stephen P Thomas, and the University of Bath (2014), working with Prof Frank Marken. I also did one short research stay in the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland (2014) working with Prof. Dr. Petr Novák. After graduation I joined the group of Professor Elzbieta Frackowiak at Poznan, to work as a a scientific assistant. During this time, I did another short research stay in the group of Dr. Martin Jonsson-Niedziolka. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and listening to good music. My biggest passion outside of chemistry is the world of reptiles.
