WhatsApp-Image-2018-12-14-at-15.00.21.jpegI am a PhD student working on improving performance of nisin as natural food additives through the use of nanotechnology under the supervision of Paco and Dr. Kostas Gkatzionis. During my PhD, I will be sponsored by the Turkey’s National Education Ministry. I have graduated from the University of Birmingham having completed a master in Chemical Engineering. My master project was focused on effect of sous vide cooking process on some important food borne bacteria in meat under the supervision of Dr. Helen Onyeaka. In 2015, I gratuated from the Kirikkale University (Turkey) having completed my undergraduate in School of Veterinary Medicine, where I was a part of some research projects focusing on antibiotic resistance of probiotic bacteria. In my spare time, I like to play football, chess and computer games.
