Daniel N. Crisan

Daniel N. Crisan - MChemI graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013 with MSci Hons in Chemistry. My MSci Project focused on the synthesis of novel glycolipids for conjugation to CD1d proteins under the supervision of Dr. Liam Cox. His PhD research project entitled “Polymeric Nanomaterials as Anti-Microbials” focuses on synthesising easily accessible polymer scaffolds which can be tuned to provide anti-microbial activity. Outside of the lab, Daniel enjoys working out and swimming, as well as diving, having recently obtained the PADI Advanced Open Water diver certificate.
