I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham, where I completed my undergraduate bachelors degree in Chemistry. My BSc project was focused on computational methods, where I adapted different ligands in their corresponding enzymes to explore their potential in medical applications. My supervisor for this biochemical-computational project was Dr John Wilkie. My Masters by research involves me exploring the use of electrochemical detection techniques to detect toxins of waterborne pathogens. My supervisors for this project are Dr Paramaconi Rodriguez, and Dr Francisco Fernandez-Trillo.
